i will try my best to work it all out but deciding where letters end and start and what is a tappause meaning dash and what is a pause between letters is really difficult at some points of the code. So yeh if you crack it and found my post or this topic helpful please give us a shout. I am 100% this is morse and this is the way they are tapping it and can also confirm the long pauses (3 space ones _ _ _) are ends of words and most, middle pauses (2 space ones _ _) are at the end of letters (not all letters have a double space after them, as seen with the E in HEY) (with no dashes)Īnd that is all so far the next bit seemed to be NEVER and then lots of AAAA but AAA looks a lot like a full stop or period (if you're american lol) and also NEVER doesnt seem to fit so the next bit after HEY, YOU is still a mystery. the E in HEY is only 1 dot alone so there are spaces either side, one could be forgiven for seeing the first bit as TTTT_T_ which using the tappause sound for a dash would seem to be. the dashes are represented by a tap pause sound so T_ would be a dash and T would be a tap. The tricky thing is with only tap noises and no dots and dashes its hard to work out what is a dash. Then is the first big 3space gap (means end of word) This word says HEY, (<- has a comma after hey) The tricky bit is the spacing and working out the dashes from dot and spaces. It was said earlier in this thread and i can also confirm i have the same findings. So far the first 2 words have been decoded. then i went through and checked the size of the pauses and saw there were 3 distinct pause lengths. added some filters to see the tap spikes really clearly and not have the death groans mess it up. This is not a great tool for learning Morse code as looking at the dots and dashes does not help. one _ means a quick pause _ _ means a middle length pause and _ _ _ means it was a long pause (these pauses when they repeat are exactly the same size, a quick a middle and a long pause) there was 2 occasions where the long pause was like a tiny bit smaller that the long pause but not as small as a middle pause, i use _ ? _ to show these pauses. Just type letters, numbers and punctuation into the top box and the Morse code will appear in the bottom box with a '' if the character cannot be translated. Ok so the T means a tap and the _ are spaces. its all very accurate i took my time and made sure it was perfect. i made on another topic a text lay out of all the taps in the morse code and the spaces between the taps. Just thought i would post this here for anyone who wants to try and solve this.
